Ossimoro I-II-III

A slab of white Carrara marble is transformed into a section of a tree trunk with irregular, enveloping curves, crafted to preserve the organic shape. The darker edges recall the tree's bark, emphasizing the connection to the nature. The surface is crafted to highlight the wood's growth rings and natural texture, making each piece unique.

In contrast with the frame's organic form, a bronzed mirror with clean, rigorous geometries is inserted at the center: hexagonal (Ossimoro I), octagonal (Ossimoro II) and decagonal (Ossimoro III).
