Stripes

These suspension lamps, designed by Paolo Ulian and made entirely of Afyon White marble, are extremely lightweight and transparent, with a thickness of just 3 mm. The shape is created using waterjet cutting: starting from a single 2 cm slab of marble, thin concentric rings are obtained, which are then overlapped to create the various shapes and proportions of the lamps.

The cutting process was designed to produce multiple lamp sizes from the same series of concentric cuts, allowing for significant savings in materials and processing waste.
