Superlight 1

The base of this dining table, made of thin sheets of aluminium, curved and assembled together, reflects the constant author’s research, that is, the minimal use of material. In Superlight 1, this principle is expressed through the reduced thickness of the sheets and a laser-cut opening that further enhances the visual lightness of the structure.

The colored laminated glass top, shaped as a nautical sail, evokes the designer’s Capri origins and contrasts with the inward curvature of the base, creating a visual tension between the two forms that makes the whole composition both dynamic and harmonious.
