The story of the pair starts in Ponte Mosca, a small place close to Turin on the Dora river, in a laboratory where architects and artists gathered. Maurizio Montesion had his studio there, where he builded lamps in the shape of stairs, strange tables and objects of odd features. Marco De Luca found himself in the same environment to film his first exhibition: after their first meeting a friendship was born, which gradually evolved in a working collaboration on different projects. Maurizio combines his background as nautical engeneer with a creative verve applied to design, while Marco as a visual artist and designer sets the artistic tone to their projects. Their collaboration rests on this double force, combining high end materials with science, transforming the functional into something original, always moving towards wonder, sursprise, and a touch of irony.
