Drap

White Carrara marble bowl designed by Paolo Ulian. The surface ripples produced by waterjet cutting, usually considered a manufacturing defect, are highlighted here, becoming an aesthetic quality that visually recalls the effect of draping fabric. The concentric cut optimizes the volume of the marble, allowing each block to yield 5-6 pieces of different sizes, minimizing waste.

Each bowl is unique, absolutely unrepeatable.
