Double Layer Red

Modern rug, designed by Marcantonio for Nodus, made entirely of hand-knotted wool. A vibrant, contemporary red geometric pattern is superimposed to a texture reminiscent of an antique rug. The artist aims to demonstrate, in line with his poetics, that modern and traditional styles can coexist, without one prevailing over the other.
