Nest

These suspension lamps, designed by Paolo Ulian and crafted from white Carrara marble, have an ethereal and weightless appearance unlike any other material. They are crafted from a 3cm flat marble slab, which is waterjet-cut into a series of concentric rings. From the seemingly useless scrap, a second, identical lamp is created. This halves the amount of material processed and cuts production costs.
