Ossimoro IX

Freestanding bookcase designed with a symmetrical structure made of lacquered iron, composed of thin cylindrical elements arranged in a series of modules, that allow a strong geometric dynamism to the piece.

The metal frame is pierced by four long slabs of white Carrara marble, carved and painted as to evoke worn and burned wooden planks. These shelves partially spread  from the support structure, as if floating in the air.
