MAgriTTA, both a seat and a sculpture, is an elegant homage to Surrealism. Blending the iconic symbolism of the black bowler hat and the green apple, recurring motifs in the works of renowned artist René Magritte, Roberto Matta's 1970 design juxtaposes the unexpected and combines elements of the absurd and the playful in a perfectly balanced seat; made of soft polyurethane and upholstered in elastic fabric.
