Chair designed by Gio Ponti in 1969, a reinterpretation of the historic seat presented in 1936 at the VI Triennale of Milan by Ponti himself. This chair enhances Ponti's creativity, with a series of unique features: the volute backrest is a tribute to the decoration that becomes structural element, the intertwining of the lower crosspieces visually unbalances the symmetry, while the legs have a triangular prism shape.
Ponti 969 is available in natural beech, walnut or lacquered beech, curved plywood backrest and a padded seat covered in leather, eco-leather or colored fabrics.
