Memento

Memento was created with the aim of giving new life to natural stone waste from design materials: the terrazzo base is made of recycled stone, while the structure, reminiscent of a flower stem, is made of brass or chromed steel.

The single flower, once placed in the vase, becomes an ephemeral, transitory symbol, a memento that reminds us of the importance of natural materials and prompts us to reflect on the current excessive exploitation of natural resources. Memento reminds us of this through the brevity of a single flower's life, because nothing is eternal.
