Cartodendro

This piece is conceptually inspired by Dendrometria, the discipline that measures and estimates the quantitative parameters of trees and records their biometric measurements. Here, however, the author ironically articulates its meaning by referencing to his favorite material, paper, thus becoming Cartodendrometrìa.

Cartodendro is a coffee table featuring a ringed top, made with a polychrome inlay of different, selected cardboard strips. The exterior is a soft, compact laminate composed of strips of recycled newspaper or other types of paper.
