Invisible Cities

Home > Cabinets > Invisible Cities

Handmade container made of birch wood and entirely covered in gold, silver, or copper leaf. The knobs are carved with small corals on a brass base. Invisible Cities is available in two versions: wall-mounted and ideally "supported" by a natural ash branch from the Franciacorta hills; or free-standing, in which the container is suspended and holded up by a supporting structure of natural ash branches.

Just as Marco Polo attempted to describe the cities he visited in Italo Calvino's novel Invisible Cities, the author describes his work: "By connecting urban places to one's emotions with an invisible thread, the ideal cities that each of us holds within our soul are revealed."

Being entirely handcrafted, each piece is unique and can be custom-made based on composition, size, and finish.
