543 Broadway Chair

The iconic 543 Broadway collection, designed by Gaetano Pesce for Meritalia®, is the perfect example of the author’s tendency to create designs that can be produced in series, yet become absolutely unique.

The series includes both a nine-legged chair and a four-legged chair. Each piece features a simple metal frame with springs at the base, paired with a seat and backrest made of colored resin. These are crafted using specialized production processes in which the colors blend spontaneously, resulting in unique, ever-varying effects.
