The celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Bocca® sofa continue, Gufram's pop and radical icon: its sensual forms become the main character of a performance that combines music, singing, theater and dance.
Gufram, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Bocca® sofa, the original LIPS® sofa designed by Studio65 in 1970, celebrates one of the symbols of Radical Design with a special project that features this emblem of sensuality: a live performance, conceived and directed by director Fabio Cherstich, one of the most interesting names on the contemporary theater scene.
On Thursday 15th October 2020, from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm, the spaces of Dilmos, a reference point in Milan for Gufram's fans and collectors, are transformed into a stage for Elena Rivoltini - actress, opera singer and performer -, protagonist of an action art in which music, song, theater and dance come together celebrating the Bocca® as a symbol of the human body, its voluptuous meaning, its revolutionary approach.
The performance sees the poly-artist "duet" with the sinuous, soft and enveloping shapes of the new Bocca® Unlimited, an open edition of the sofa presented in 25 new colors: the ever-current contemporaneity of this disruptive project blends with the classic Baroque musical repertoire and with the melodies sung a cappella by Elena Rivoltini, which evoke the mouth, kisses and lips in the lyrics.
The project will be presented in a series of stages in Italy and Europe, scheduled between October and November in the cities of Rome, Amsterdam, Athens, Bordeaux, and Nice.
