Daniele Papuli was born in Puglia, Italy. After graduating in Sculpture at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, he settled in Milan where he still works. In 1993, during an international workshop in Berlin, he learned methods for manufacturing sheet paper, from that time he chose paper as the most suitable material for his research and his own language.

His products use handmade paper, selected by colour and weight. His research enters art galleries with a series of collective and solo exhibitions, from sculpture to design, to installations and sets for important fashion brands, fairs and galleries. He defines himself as a “sculptographer” in continuous dialogue with materials, places and space.
